The Ohio Cardiovascular and Diabetes Health Collaborative (Cardi-OH) will host a webinar, “Primary and Secondary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in Women,” Wednesday, Dec. 4, from noon to 1 p.m.
Keynote speaker Leslie Cho from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic, will discuss:
- Identifying cardiovascular risk considerations unique to women.
- Providing evidence-based patient education on the prevention and risk management of cardiovascular disease.
- Screening and treating cardiovascular disease risk factors in women.
One continuing medical education credit will be offered at no cost.
Cardi-OH is a statewide program with investigators across Ohio’s medical schools based within the Center for Clinical Investigation under Community Health Programs at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
