The Plain Dealer: A groundbreaking for the new RTA transit center near campus was held yesterday, launching an $18.5 million rebuild of the station. The project culminates six years of planning between RTA and University Circle institutions, including Case Western Reserve, University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Foundation. The new station’s design will improve safety and should attract more riders, said President Barbara R. Snyder.
