For the second year, QGrad has collaborated with Research ShowCASE to highlight the LGBTQIA+-centered research at Case Western Reserve University. This year, all research registered in collaboration with QGrad will be marked so Research ShowCASE attendees can take a journey through various works related to LGBTQIA+ issues and triumphs.
To submit abstracts through QGrad, graduate and professional students, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, staff and affiliates should fill out the form on the Office of Research and Technology Management website and select the QGrad option by Tuesday, Feb. 26.
About Research ShowCASE
All Case Western Reserve University-affiliated faculty, staff and students can submit to present their work at Research ShowCASE, which will be held Friday, April 19. The event provides an opportunity for CWRU researchers to display research with a traditional scientific poster or by other creative means.
Researchers from University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth Medical Center and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center are welcome to participate.
In addition to the opportunity to display and share work, undergraduate and graduate students, professional students and postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to participate in the research competition. Presentations will be evaluated and feedback provided. Cash prizes will be awarded to winning entries.
In order to display work at Research ShowCASE, researchers must submit an online abstract describing the research. Students and postdoctoral scholars must have a faculty adviser approve their submission.
