Prepare for the transition to new Google Sites

Editor’s note: The timeline for this transition has been pushed back. The ability to edit classic Google Sites pages will be June 1, and starting July 1, the pages will no longer be viewable.

Google is completing the transition from the classic Google Sites to new Google Sites. On Dec. 1, classic Google Sites owners will lose the ability to edit their pages. Starting Jan. 1, classic Google Sites will no longer be viewable. To avoid this occurring, owners should convert their sites now. Use Google’s Classic Site Manager tool to begin the conversion. It’s recommended that owners download an archive of their sites as well.
