Prepare for a teaching career with the UNIV401 seminar this spring

Graduate students and postdocs who are interested in learning how to teach in the higher education setting are invited to register for the spring 2023 UNIV401 course. This no-credit seminar course aims to introduce participants to the principles of effective teaching, including writing objectives, assessing student learning, active learning techniques, and much more.

Upon completion, participants will be able to plan and teach classes using best practices. There is no charge for this seminar, and a free textbook is provided.

This is a 14-week seminar and will meet weekly in-person on Tuesdays beginning Jan. 17. Enrollment is limited to 15 students. 

Graduate students can register via the Student Information System (SIS). Postdoc scholars/fellows can email postdoc@case.edu for registration instructions (please allow some time for the application process to proceed).
