Enrollment has opened for the summer iteration of UNIV401: Advanced Professional Development for University Teaching. This course is intended to provide participants with the chance to learn innovative, effective and evidence-based teaching strategies that can be used as they transition into faculty positions in higher education.
The seminar offers participants the chance to learn effective teaching strategies useful across major disciplines. This eight-week seminar will take place on Tuesdays during the summer semester, from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Participants will be expected to read assigned literature, complete a weekly journal response, and participate fully in all discussions. This course is open to graduate students (register via SIS) and postdocs (register as a postdoc auditor).
