Pregnant women needed for a research study!

  • Must be between 12 and 16 weeks pregnant during the first study visit
  • Between 18 and 40 years of age
  • BMI <40
  • No high blood pressure, diabetes, or autoimmune disease

Study Description

The study is funded by Sigma Theta Tau International. The study is investigating the relationship between fat mass, physical activity, stress, a protein in your blood, genetic variant and inflammation and the development of high blood pressure during pregnancy and diabetes during pregnancy. The study will include answering 3 surveys, having skin fold thickness measures taken, providing saliva, and an optional blood sample during a study visit, and providing information about your birth outcomes after your baby is born.
