Pre-register now for the annual Stephanie Tubbs Jones Race For Education, which will take place Oct. 15 during Homecoming/Alumni Weekend. The 5K race is open to students, faculty, staff and alumni and all proceeds go to the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Award, which is given to an underrepresented undergraduate student yearly.
The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 15.
Pre-registration ($10 for students, $15 for faculty/staff/alumni/community) closes Oct. 6, so pre-register to be guaranteed your 2011 shirt and get a lower rate. Registration, after Oct. 7 until the day of the event, will be $20.
