PRCHN Seminar Series—“Investigating Public Responses to Racial Health Disparities: Findings from the AmeRicans’ Conceptions of Health Study”

Colleen Walsh, an assistant professor in the School of Health Sciences at Cleveland State University, will present at the next Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods Seminar Series event.

Titled “Investigating Public Responses to Racial Health Disparities: Findings from the AmeRicans’ Conceptions of Health Study,” this session will be held Wednesday, July 10, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in BioEnterprise Building, Room 03A.

Walsh will discuss findings on her research relating to perceptions of health and how these perceptions vary by race, socioeconomic status and ideology. Walsh’s work is associated with ARCHES (AmeRicans’ Conceptions of Health Equity Study), which is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

This free event is open to all. A light lunch will be provided.
