Relay For Life is coordinating a series of Power of Purple events for Friday, Feb. 15, starting with a celebration in the Thwing Center atrium featuring a cancer research showcase, entertainment and free food from the Winking Lizard, Jimmy John’s and Mitchell’s Ice Cream. Join Relay For Life members from 12:30 to 2 p.m. to learn how Relay dollars support Case Western Reserve University researchers in the fight against cancer.
In the evening, the celebration will continue with the Faculty vs. Student Basketball game from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Veale Center. There will be free pizza and a Relay For Life raffle featuring Case Western Reserve University apparel and a Nook.
Following the basketball game, the Jolly Scholar will sponsor drink and food specials starting at 8:30 p.m. with proceeds going to Relay For Life.
Join Relay For Life members for an entire day of festivities that will help them reach their fundraising goals for Relay, which will take place Saturday, April 20, to Sunday, April 21.
