Postdoc Nidhi Shukla, PhD student Nisha Kamath earn travel awards to present their work

Postdoctoral scholar Nidhi Shukla and PhD student Nisha Kamath, both of Case Western Reserve University’s Department of Pathology, were selected with travel awards from the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Shukla and Kamath both are members of the lab of Kenneth Matreyek, assistant professor of pathology.

Shukla and Kamath will have the opportunity to present their work at the Discover BMB 2023 meeting in Seattle later this month.

Shukla looks forward to showcasing her work and interacting with scientists in her field during her first in-person scientific meeting as a postdoc.

For Kamath, this will be the first time she will present her research at a national conference during graduate school. She looks forward to the opportunity to network with other scientists for collaboration and future employment opportunities.
