Ankit Sharma, postdoc at Case School of Engineering, recently received the prestigious Global 5 Under 35 Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) Award. Sharma works with Ya-Ting Liao, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
The award represents the world’s top five rising leaders in the field who work at any level in the industry, academics or research and who has had a great impact in the field or within the society and science and technology that reduces global fire risk.
The awards will be presented during the SFPE Annual Conference & Expo in October.
