Kathryn Lavelle, the Ellen and Dixon Long Professor of World Affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences, wrote an article on “Multilateralism in Global Health” for the Yale University Press Blog.
Drawing from her recently published book, The Challenges of Multilateralism, Lavelle identified current trends in global health governance that have been relevant to science and economics since the 19th century. Lavelle also discussed Cleveland Clinic’s contribution to the global effort to defeat the virus, including its research on vulnerable populations and their acquisition and distribution of medical equipment to health care professionals.
