Northeast Ohio political experts recap and analyze the vice-presidential debate

Lavelle, the Ellen and Dixon Long Professor in World Affairs in the Department of Political Science at the College of Arts and Sciences, recapped the vice presidential debate between Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) and Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minnesota), in which the candidates cordially addressed climate change, abortion and immigration. A CBS poll showed 42% thought Vance won, 41% favored Walz.
