Political science professor Pete Moore weighs in on Middle Eastern conflict

Latest military violence will have political impact

Cleveland Jewish NewsPete Moore, associate professor of political science, said the recent violence in the Middle East does nothing to address the root cause of the ongoing conflict in the region. “There needs to be a secure Israel next to a sovereign and viable Palestinian state. It’s the goal of most people involved in the process,” he said. “There is no military solution to this conflict. There’s only a political solution, but the violence makes that political process extremely difficult.”
