Lydia Kisley, the Warren E. Rupp Assistant Professor of Physics, was selected to participate in the 2020-21 Scialog: Chemical Machinery of the Cell initiative, sponsored by the Research Corporation for Science Advancement and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
The event’s goal is to identify bottlenecks, find avenues for breakthroughs and build new scientific teams. Fellows form small groups to launch projects. These groups are chosen to receive a $50,000 grant per fellow, funded by the corporation and its foundation partners.
Kisley will participate in the program remotely in October 2020, with an additional in-person meeting in 2021.
