Physics’ Pavel Fileviez Perez to serve as convener at the American Physical Society’s Snowmass 2021

Pavel Fileviez Perez, associate professor in the Department of Physics, will be a convener at the American Physical Society’s Snowmass 2021. The event is held every 10 years with scientists from around the world, allowing them to identify the most pressing issues in the field of particle physics.

He will be among a small selected group of physicists tasked with devising a strategy for the United States’ future efforts in particle physics research.
