Cosmologists try a new way to measure the shape of the universe
Quanta Magazine: Glenn Starkman, professor and co-chair of the Department of Physics at the College of Arts Sciences, noted that while the universe’s shape remains a mystery, he’s leading efforts to explore its topology through advanced computational methods. “The size and shape of the universe is absolutely one of the most basic and important questions we could ask,” Starkman said, citing its profound significance.
