Physics’ Glenn Starkman discusses theories of “early” dark matter and the expanding universe

Could ‘early’ dark energy explain the mystery of the universe’s expansion?

How Stuff Works: Glenn Starkman, Distinguished University Professor and co-chair of the physics department, commented on theories of ‘early’ dark matter proposed in a pair of yet-to-be-published studies, both based upon data gathered between 2013 and 2016 by the Atacama Cosmology Telescope. Starkman said it’s important to be careful with such “extraordinary” claims, unless the evidence is clear and compelling.
