Physics’ Giuseppe Strangi teams up to create a new type of solar panel coating

Ohio researchers create new type of coating for solar panels

Farm and Dairy: Giuseppe Strangi, professor of physics and the Ohio Research Scholar in Surfaces of Advanced Materials, was part of a team that created a new type of coating that could make the photovoltaic cells used to make solar panels last six times longer. He said the development could dramatically decrease the cost of replacing worn out cells.
