Under rainy skies, more than 1,500 new members of the Case Western Reserve University community arrived on campus this weekend to move into their new homes. Despite the inclement weather, the Class of 2026 and transfer students got a warm welcome and a helping hand from orientation leaders, Spartie and others—including President and Mrs. Kaler—as they unloaded boxes, bins, suitcases and more from vehicles lining the roads of North Residential Village.

As they settle into their new living spaces, our newest students now will embark on a week full of activities and bonding with their classmates during Discover Week.
Check out the Discover Week schedule to find out what they’ll be up to—and keep an eye on The Daily this week to get more updates.
