Philosophy’s Jeremy Bendik-Keymer has symposium published by Studia Philosophica Wratislavensia

Jeremy Bendik-Keymer, the Beamer-Schneider Professor in Ethics, had a symposium published by the University of Wroclaw surrounding his work. Based around Bendik-Keymer’s ideas on the politics of wonder, the symposium was published in English by Studia Philosophica Wratislavensia, the philosophy journal of the University of Wroclaw.

The publication is open-access and includes scholars from the Human Development and Capability Association and the Richard Rorty Society. It features a rejection of the politics of wonder, a discussion of its “materialist phenomenology,” and Bendik-Keymer’s application of the subject to planetary thinking and post-colonialism. Bendik-Keymer is working on a related manuscript under contract from Bloomsbury.
