Case Western Reserve University students are invited to join Phi Sigma Rho for the Phi Rho Your Boat event, a racing competition using cardboard boats.
In this competition, teams of four to six students will have 90 minutes to construct their boats, which one member will race across the pool in the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center natatorium.
The winning team will receive free scoops at Mitchell’s. The competition will be held Sunday, April 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. All proceeds will go toward the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Food concessions will be available for purchase for team members and those cheering for them.
There also will be a table for individuals to be swabbed for Gift of Life to become a donor.
