Case Western Reserve students and faculty host Rally For Iran, decry regime’s violence against women and protestors Cleveland Scene: Payam Fadaei and Ghazaal Tahmasebi, both PhD students at the School of Medicine, discussed a rally they organized on campus in support of women’s rights in Iran. The two-hour event highlighted both the ongoing atrocities of the Iranian police force and the growing global movement to call attention to the plight of Iranian women. “I’m still shocked,” Tahmasebi said. “Many of (my friends) are facing a death penalty.
