A frog that can change skin texture
New York Times: Katherine Krynak, a doctoral student in biology, was among a group of researchers to discover a frog in Ecuador that can change its skin texture from smooth to spiky. “We took a specimen back to the house in a cup to photograph it, and when we looked in the morning, we thought we had grabbed the wrong frog,” she said of the discovery.
