Undergraduate students Hannah Clarke and Geneva Magsino will share their successful experience with Projects for Peace and discuss how to apply for this prestigious award, which aims to “encourage student initiative, innovation and entrepreneurship focusing on conflict prevention, resolution or reconciliation.”
Projects for Peace is a national program, and each year, CWRU can nominate one project and one alternate for the award.
The discussion will take place Friday, Nov. 30, from 1 to 2 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248.
The event will support PERIOD @ CWRU’s hygiene product drive, so attendees are encouraged to bring unopened boxes of tampons, pads and diva cups to be donated for care packages for those in need.
This event is sponsored by the Center for International Affairs, the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and the Office of Undergraduate Studies.
