Pathology’s Amy Hise co-writes article on empowering women for Pathogens

Amy Hise, associate professor of pathology, recently co-authored an article published in Pathogens titled “Empowering Women: Moving from Awareness to Action at the Immunology of Fungal Infections Gordon Research Conference.”

The article addresses an important issue in STEM and medical research and provides data on gender disparity, reports on a unique program to address this issue and provides guidelines for scientists, universities and institutions moving forward to impact and address gender discrimination in science.
