Pathology’s Amy G. Hise appointed president of the International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society

Amy G. Hise, associate professor of pathology and a physician at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, recently began a two-year term as president of the International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society (IEIIS).

The organization’s mission is to promote the exchange of ideas and new data among investigators of endotoxin biology and innate immunity and to support and promote the career development of early-stage colleagues. 

Hise’s leadership vision includes promoting diversity, building membership and enhancing engagement within the organization.
