After the Jan. 27 Executive Order limiting immigration, universities nationwide began participating in a #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign.
The Center for International Affairs wants to spread the message that all are wanted and welcome here on Case Western Reserve University’s campus. As part of the #YouAreWelcomeHereCWRU campaign, the center is requesting short videos and photos of students, staff and faculty sharing that message of inclusiveness to be compiled into a university video.
As part of the campaign, a kickoff event will be held Friday, Feb. 24, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Tomlinson Hall lobby, featuring video shoots, a discussion and free gifts for those participating.
Clubs, departments, groups and individuals are encouraged to submit a short horizontal video to cami@case.edu including the message “You Are Welcome Here at CWRU.”
