SpartanTHON, a club at Case Western Reserve that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, will host Extra Life, a weeklong charity gaming event.
A series of events will take place Nov. 2-9 and began Nov. 2 with a 25-hour gaming marathon to raise funds to improve the lives of children in the hospital. Gamers created online profiles and had family and friends sponsor their 25 hours of play.
SpartanTHON also will co-host an evening event with The Jolly Scholar on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The campus community is invited to The Jolly Scholar for bingo, horse racing and other games. A portion of the proceeds will go to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
Finally, on Saturday, Nov. 9, SpartanTHON will host a poker tournament at Wade Commons from 2 to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $5 and prizes will be awarded. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
