The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning will offer a new Alternative May Break opportunity in Columbus this year. Participants will work with organizations that assist refugee, asylum-seeking and immigrant populations in building skills to address barriers related to language, education, fair and affordable housing, and employment.
The trip runs Sunday, May 8, through Friday, May 13, with a fee of $350, which includes transportation, lodging and most meals.
Applications are available online and will be accepted on a rolling basis, with a first priority deadline of Monday, March 28.
