The Theta Chi fraternity will host Mental Health Awareness week events Nov 2-6 to raise awareness for mental health issues and raise money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Greater Cleveland.
Individuals can stop by the tables in Nord Hall to buy a T-shirt, purchase tickets for the Mental Health Fair and receive a ribbon to wear to support mental health awareness anytime during the week.
In addition, the following events are set:
Chalking
Monday, Nov. 2
All Day
Stop by the Spitball on Case Quad sometime during the day to share your thoughts about mental health by chalking the sculpture.
Open Mic Night
Wednesday, Nov. 4
6-8 p.m.
Clark Hall, 309
Members of the campus community are encouraged to share their story in a safe place.
Mental Health Fair
Friday, Nov. 6
5:30-8 p.m.
Thwing Center ballroom
The fair will feature speakers, food and information on mental health resources on campus, the Cleveland area and nationally. Tickets cost $5 at the door. All proceeds benefit NAMI Greater Cleveland.
