Participate in a free health-coaching program offered by Omada Health

Those looking to decrease their risk of heart disease or diabetes may have the opportunity to participate in a free health-coaching pilot from Omada Health. Participants will learn if they qualify after completing their biometric screening this fall.

The Quest Diagnostic biometric screening schedule is open and all benefits-eligible faculty and staff are invited by the Wellness Program to participate. Register and schedule a screening on the Quest Diagnostic website using registration key “CWRU.”

Omada Health will contact benefits-eligible faculty and staff whose screening results indicate they are at risk for metabolic syndrome in three of five areas of concern—blood pressure, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, fasting glucose, waist circumference—with an invitation to join the 16-week program.

Participants will move through an interactive program using a wireless scale, professional health coach and weekly lessons. Additional support will be available for the following eight months.

Register for a webinar to learn more about the Omada Health Coaching program Friday, Oct. 12, at noon.
