Participants in CCEL’s alternative spring break collecting supplies for Nicaraguans March 7-8

This spring break, a group of 16 students, staff and alumni will travel to Nicaragua with the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning’s alternative spring break trip. In preparation for their departure, participants are organizing a supply drive to collect school supplies, sports equipment and toiletries to be distributed through Waves of Hope, a nonprofit working in the community.

Cash and in-kind donations will be accepted in the Nord Hall atrium from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, and Thursday, March 8.
