Parents: Take note of National Youth Sports Program registration dates

Case Western Reserve University parents and guardians of children ages 10 to 16 can register early for the 2016 National Youth Sports Program (NYSP), a five-week summer camp that combines sports activities, educational enrichment, nutrition and health services.

NYSP takes place weekdays June 6 to July 8 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a variety of activities around campus from the playing fields for sports to the classrooms for education programs to work on math, science and language skills.

Registration will take place in Adelbert Gym on the following dates:

  • Friday, May 20, from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 22, from 2 to 5 p.m.

The program costs $70 for Cleveland residents and $160 for residents of Greater Cleveland.

Aftercare is available during the program from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. for an additional $85.

The cost of the program includes physicals and meals.
