Join the Great Lakes Energy Institute for a panel discussion titled “Climate, Transit, and Societal Implications” Tuesday, March 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Senior Classroom of the Tinkham Veale University Center.
Panelists will discuss the intersection of transportation access with housing, environmental justice and sustainability. They will also aim to provide direction and actionable steps for attendees while centering mobility as a primary focus of climate action.
The event will feature the following panelists:
- Chris Alvarado, Executive Director of the Slavic Village Development;
- José C. Feliciano Jr., Intergovernmental Relations Officer for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority;
- Beth Glas, Executive Vice President of Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio (MAHO); and
- Calley Mersmann, Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator for the Cleveland City Planning Commission.
