oSTEM Professional Mentorship Program looks to match professional LGBTQ+ individuals in STEM with undergraduate mentees

oSTEM@CWRU is excited to offer our mentorship program again for the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking to match professional LGBTQ+ individuals in STEM with undergraduate mentees. The intent of this program is to establish connections, promote professional development, and to create a support network within the LGBTQ+ STEM community at CWRU and beyond. We are looking to network in both academic and non-academic fields, so LGBTQ+ professionals from any STEM-related disciplines are welcome to sign up as mentors.

As part of this program, mentors and mentees will meet at least once per month starting January 2024 and are encouraged to discuss the monthly themes provided by the Mentorship Co-Coordinators. A time commitment of at least 1 hour per month is expected, as well as reliable communication with the mentor throughout the semester. Undergraduate students of all years are encouraged to apply.Sign up using the group’s Google form.
