Conflict happens, and so everyone needs to develop the skills to manage it effectively. When managed properly, conflict can allow for learning opportunities.
The Organizational Development and Learning Unit of the Department of Human Resources will launch a two-part series on conflict management with an option to enroll in a third workshop on workplace violence.
The sessions will be held Sept. 14, Oct. 12 and Nov. 9 from noon to 2 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 720.
Jason Goodrick, director of emergency management, will facilitate the series.
Attendees who attend all three sessions can earn a certificate.
