Orchid Mania tickets offered to new ORCID ID users

Postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students who have not yet signed up for an ORCID ID can claim a free ticket to the Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Orchid Mania event by registering for the ORCID digital identifier between Feb. 3-14.

Orchid Mania tickets will be given to the first 50 postdoctoral or doctoral students who bring a screenshot of their ORCID profile pages to Kelvin Smith Library’s administration office in KSL Room 212. For more information, email Mark Clemente at mark.clemente@case.edu or call 216.368.3539.

ORCID is a free digital identifier that unambiguously distinguishes researchers with identical or similar names, links together all work regardless of the institution where it was conducted, and makes it easy for publishers, grant funders and others to find researchers.
