The Benelect open enrollment period for 2013 benefits starts today and runs through Nov. 30. Enrollment kits were sent by campus mail to benefits-eligible faculty and staff. The packets contain the Benelect 2013 guide, a summary of key considerations to help in decision-making, the Benelect 2013 price sheets, and instructions for making elections in the online enrollment system. All of these materials also are available on the 2013 Open Enrollment website.
During the benefits fair on Nov. 14 (11 a.m.–5 p.m.) and 15 (8 a.m.–2 p.m.) in the Thwing Center Ballroom, computer kiosks will be available to enter 2013 benefit elections. Human resources representatives and Benelect insurance carriers will be on hand to answer questions.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 16, human resources representatives will be available weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Crawford Hall 209 to answer questions and assist employees with the enrollment process. Computer kiosks will be available. Employees also can call the Benelect Hotline at 368.1234 for assistance.
