Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join Kelvin Smith Library for a dialogue on “Open Access Content in Teaching & Research: Sparking Creativity/Fostering Equity” and its application in both teaching and research. This event will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship (Room 105).
The event will feature a group of panelists who will discuss how open access content—including scholarship, data and images that are openly available—can both spark creative and transformative new uses and foster equitable participation in teaching, research, and scholarship.
A reception will follow the panel talk.
The Cleveland Museum of Art also will offer an ArtLens Gallery Tour at 11:30 a.m.
