One to One Fitness Center offers chair yoga classes

Do you sit at a desk or use a computer all day? Do you have a condition that limits your range of motion or ability to get up and down easily? Are you new to yoga?

Chair yoga allows participants to move through traditional yoga poses using a chair for support, providing them with a greater range of motion as well as improved flexibility, strength, balance and stability. In addition to all the physical benefits yoga can provide, it can also reduce stress and anxiety and improve your mental state.

One to One Fitness Center will host chair yoga sessions every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for 30-minute classes in one of three formats:

  • In person at One to One Fitness Center (space is limited to allow for social distancing; register in advance);
  • Virtually from anywhere; and
  • Recordings (register for the virtual class and receive a recording of the class to view within 24 hours).
