One-on-one English language practice sessions available for grad students and postdocs

Spoken English Language Programs in the School of Graduate Studies offers free one-on-one English language practice with native English speaking students for international graduate students and postdocs at Case Western Reserve University.

The service can be used to talk about language and U.S. academic and social culture, get general speaking practice, or practice pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or idioms. Those using the service may practice for speeches, presentations, job interviews, or other speaking events.

Graduate students may use TutorTrac to set up an appointment with a tutor. Postdocs will need to email Eric Moore, director of Spoken English Language Programs, at eric.moore2@case.edu in order to set up an appointment for the first time.
