Cara Byrne, an English lecturer and research advisor on diverse children’s literature at the Schubert Center for Child Studies, will lead a family-friendly discussion of diversity in illustrated children’s books. The event, titled “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!: Diversity in Children’s Picture Books,” will take place Sunday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to noon in Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballroom A.
