Janice Gerda, director of the Office of Residence Life, was the featured speaker at the Ohio College Personnel Association conference Jan. 22.
The Ohio College Personnel Association is an organization aimed at advancing student learning and development by promoting the best practices for student affairs practitioners.
She also recently co-authored the chapter, “‘A Long and Storied History’: Student Affairs in the United States” in the textbook The Handbook of Student Affairs Administration (4th edition). The handbook is a resource for individuals in the student affairs field, detailing the most current and effective practices.
Gerda began her career in student affairs here at Case Western Reserve University as a resident assistant in Storrs House.
