On Sept. 29, Christopher Jones, assistant vice president and director of equity for the Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, presented at the 10th Black Male Summit, hosted by the University of Akron.
This year’s summit provided an opportunity for high school students, college students, educators, community political figures and religious leaders to come together and share knowledge and best practices, and to hear sessions and workshops from national and local speakers.
Jones’ session was titled “Uncharted Territory: The Equal Opportunity Position in Higher Education After Obama.”
