The Observer is the University’s independent student news source. The newspaper is hiring reporters for this spring.
Working for The Observer is a fun way to uncover the behind-the-scenes of your favorite areas of campus. Reporters work on a beat—a subject area they are interested in covering—and write weekly or biweekly. The News section is home to passion for campus life, issues, offices, organizations and work with key figures. Arts & Entertainment encompasses campus concerts, theater, dance and events. Varsity games, intramural sports and athletic clubs are central to the Sports section.
This is a paid work experience opportunity to be published. Those at all levels of experience are welcome. Check out the latest issue; the paper is in print Fridays and always online at observer.case.edu.
The Observer is also hiring photographers and advertising managers. The latter pitch and finalize advertisement sales to local buyers.
