Cleveland kids face elevated lead risk, Case Western Reserve is trying to change that
Cleveland 19 News: Peg DiMarco and Marilyn “Lynn” Lotas, associate professors of nursing, discussed the need to test Cleveland children for lead and a new pilot program to increase screening. The program, supported by a grant from the Elisabeth Severance Prentiss Foundation, is a collaboration among the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, the City of Cleveland Department of Public Health and the MetroHealth School Health Program.
