Faye A. Gary, the Medical Mutual of Ohio Kent W. Clapp Chair and professor of nursing, received the congressional recognition Unsung Heroes.
Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge honored Gary for having “dedicated herself to supporting minority students seeking higher education, and for her work as a researcher in the areas affecting minorities, as well as having been internationally recognized for work that address children, community, corporate and faith-based health care.”
