NSF Career Award Writing Group Kickoff

Faculty members planning to apply for a National Science Foundation (NSF) Career Award are invited to participate in a Grant Writing Group, offered through the Office of Faculty Development and the Writing Resource Center (WRC), meeting from January to June 2021. Join the Office of Faculty Development for the kick-off event NSF Career Award Writing Group Friday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m. (EST). Register for the event via CampusGroups.

The writing program provides support and feedback on grant proposals, and includes access to a range of resources. It will conclude in June with proposal submission to a mock panel of experienced NSF reviewers. Participants also will receive individual access to a WRC faculty consultant. Peer reviews will be obtained for those who have completed proposals by the end of May, and a copy editor will be provided in preparation for a July submission. Meeting times for the semester will be shared at the kickoff event.
